Bio

Riccieri Paludo is an award-winning composer, cellist, and audio producer specializing in the integration of comtemporary music, regional South American music traditions, and music technology. A Fulbright Scholar currently pursuing a PhD in Music Composition and Music Technology at the University of Utah, he holds a Master’s degree in Composition and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from UDESC.

As a media and concert composer, Riccieri has scored seven theatrical plays, an interactive digital art installation (Emergir), and six short films—winning First Place in the UDESC Radio Soundtrack Composition Contest. His extensive collaborative work with the Skiante Dance Company has been featured at major national festivals, including the Joinville Dance Festival and Passo de Arte in São Paulo. 

 

Experienced in audio engineering and modern production software, Riccieri uses Ableton Live and Logic Pro both as creative compositional tools and for high-level studio production. His commercial engineering background includes recording, mixing, and mastering chamber music recitals, live performance broadcasts, and studio tracks for local video production companies and independent artists.

 

As an active multi-instrumentalist and session cellist, Riccieri has recorded on over 50 commercially released tracks, including prominent traditional and contemporary albums across southern Brazil. He has performed as a section cellist with the Santa Catarina Symphonic Orchestra and the Lages Symphony Orchestra, and regularly features as an award-winning performer at major South Brazilian folk music festivals, including the Sapecada da Canção Nativa.
